hey... wouldn't it be L. roraito? coz the equal sign things normally mean a new word (if i remember from hunter x hunter) and the sign is between 'eru' and 'roraito'...

Actually, no. I disagree at the "eruuro" part at least. Death Note uses = to distinguish between first name and surname. There's a = after the ru.

I'm reading this as "Eru Ro-raito", aka Elle Lowlight/Lawlight.

Which... quite seriously? I'm flipping through the volumes for any gender-related pronouns right now. And I've not yet found any x_X;
